Fabian's Take

CPO & Chief AI Officer

"This aggregator has literally all the models. All the LLMs, all the thinking models, including the open source ones, the research models, all the image generators, video generators, audio models, and much more. All-in-one UI in one app and even accessible via API. For the price of a single subscription such as ChatGPT Pro. Minus points for bad user experience and UI that hasn't been improved at all in two years."

Full Review

Poe.com is a unique proposition in the AI space: a single platform that aggregates virtually every major AI model across all modalities. Instead of subscribing to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, and others separately, Poe gives you access to all of them in one interface.

The All-in-One Value Proposition

For the price of a single ChatGPT Pro subscription, Poe gives you access to GPT-5, Claude 4.1, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, and dozens of other text models. But it doesn’t stop at text — you also get image generators (DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, Flux), video generators (Veo, Sora), audio models (ElevenLabs, Lyria), and more. The breadth is genuinely impressive.

The API Advantage

Poe also provides API access to all these models behind a single key. For developers who want to experiment with different models without managing multiple API accounts and billing relationships, this is genuinely valuable.

The UX Problem

The biggest downside is the user experience. The interface is functional but feels dated — it hasn’t seen meaningful design improvements in two years. Navigation is cluttered, model selection can be overwhelming, and the overall polish doesn’t match what you’d get from the native platforms. For a product built on providing access to the newest AI models, the UI feels like it’s from a different era.

Who Should Use Poe

Power users and experimenters who want to try many different models without managing multiple subscriptions. Developers who want a single API for multiple models. Anyone who values breadth of access over polish of experience.
